Greetings Reader

Here, south of the equator, the autumn chill has arrived (although where I live, there is a marked absence of the much needed rain). The cooling temperatures draw my focus inward, downward, to a place where my soul wants to rest and just be. With all that is happening in the world at the moment, I am sure that many of us are wanting to do just this, regardless of where we may live. However, for me, the earthly energetics are also encouraging this inward descent away from the sun as the Celtic Festival of the Dead, Samhain, nears near.

And even if the earthly energetics are opening up to embrace the solar light (as it nears Bealtaine in the Northern Hemisphere), there are many other cosmic forces also at play.

The effects from the recent total solar eclipse at the beginning of the month are still being felt as things that were once hidden continue to be exposed, and this residue will linger at least until the end of the year. And then we have the mighty conjunction between Jupiter and Uranus, marking the start of a new 14 year cycle of chaos and change through which new opportunities will emerge.

If that was not enough, we have recently had the dwarf planet, Sedna, transiting from Taurus into Gemini, which is said to bring about generational change due to the length of its orbit.

Jupiter-Uranus Conjunction

When I pause and think about things, there are a number of interesting threads emerging - almost enhancing what other people have been saying for a while now - that we ARE in times of great change and we ALL need to make a choice ...

Are we going to get onboard and make the most of the opportunities that are being presented to us (no matter how uncertain we may feel as change can be scary)?

Or are we going to remain with our heads in the sand in an attempt to remain oblivious of what is happening around us, or constantly looking backward, and pining over a world that no longer exits, which will only leave us further behind?

When I prepared the three card oracle reading for this coming week, a similar theme could also be found - together with a sense of guidance as to what we can do when forced to make choices that we do not really want - that is to stop ... breathe ... and connect into the Wise Ones, our Ancestors, Spirit Guides, Guardian Angels, even our Higher Consciousness - whomever you resonant with.

Go within and sit there for a moment. See what rises up from the depth of your own knowing - and TRUST THAT KNOWING.

So, when we get tired of the density of the energy and the grief contained in these energetics of chaotic change, there is hope - Sedna is there to guide us, encouraging us to get on a spiritual path, or to recognise the spiritual path that we are on, encouraging us to LET GO of what is outdated and needs to be surrendered, and enabling us to then RISE ABOVE experiences.

And do not forget to breathe.
